My plan for this week is to catch up on posts about our vacation, but there are a couple of things that we need to report that do not involve the vacation, and both things are about Penelope and her recent accomplishments as a 10 month old:
(1) Penelope can play a kazoo. We bought the kids a set of musical instruments, which included a kazoo. She loves playing the kazoo. It cracks us up.
(2) Penelope has her first word!!! Whenever Gary waves and tells her that he is going to leave, she throws up her hand and says, “Bye!” Consistently. It’s amazing.
We’re quite sure she is a genius.
