The first thing we did was take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch.
The kids loved the pumpkin patch, and especially the pumpkins. Piper seemed partial to smaller pumpkins, and Henry liked the larger pumpkins. Rosemary enjoyed just sitting and being outside. For some reason, Henry gravitated toward every single mud puddle that was out there. He was the dirtiest of them all when it was all said and done. I did take several cute pictures of the kids playing together in the pumpkin patch:
I also got some really cute pictures of the girls together. . . .
While the kids were playing, Gary ventured deep into the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkins and emerged victorious!
Right as we finished up picking out our pumpkins, while we were waiting to take the hay ride back, it started to sprinkle just a little bit. We didn't think it would last long, so we had lunch there at the covered picnic tables.
After we ate, the rain was gone and we were able to let the babies play on the big hay bales and pumpkins. Henry especially loved the hay bales. He walked all the way around the haybales, climbing over pumpkins, and climbing up the hay bales.
And here are all five of us:
I took a ridiculous number of pictures at the pumpkin patch. They are all so good and there are so many of them, that I've decided to give each baby his or her own post with pictures. So, over the next 3 days, I will make a post for each baby with only pictures.
I am especially glad that I took that photography class in July after seeing these photographs. I really don't think that my photos would be half as good as they are had I not taken that class. I'm enjoying taking photos now, and hope that I continue to improve.
