Bears!

Just because it's so darn cute:

This past Monday Rosemary had her hernia surgery, which went very well. We had intended to wait until November, but the hernia was getting worse so the pediatric urologist thought it would be best to move the surgery up. As previously promised by the doctor, Rosemary recovered from the surgery before we did. She had to stay overnight only because of her age, but by Tuesday she didn't even need Tylenol. I am very glad to have it behind us, but I really hated having the poor baby put to sleep for an operation. Rosemary has just a tiny little incision scar that the doctor said will probably just disappear as she grows.

We had a pediatrician appointment on Friday, and here are the current weights for all the babies:

Piper: 8 pounds 7 ounces
Henry: 9 pounds 10 ounces
Rosemary: 5 pounds 15 ounces

They are certainly growing! I can't wait to see them get even bigger and fatter!

I don't know why, but for some reason, I see him dancing to "in the jungle, the mighty jungle..." :D ha! Such a sweet little guy!
