We are very lucky in our babies' sleeping habits. They all go down around 8:00 p.m. and get up around 7:30 a.m. Occasionally Rosemary wants up at 7:00 a.m., but usually she waits until 7:30 a.m. Yesterday morning, however, Piper woke up around 5:00 a.m. and was pretty fussy. We checked on her, and then left her in bed. We continued to check her throughout the morning. She continued to fuss so much that finally at 7:00 a.m. I got her out of bed. The babies love to chew on our hands, and so I didn't think much about it when she grabbed onto my hand to put it in her mouth to gnaw on my thumb -- until she chomped down on me with a tooth!! And it HURT. But still, we are so excited! We've tried and tried to take a picture of her new tooth, but she won't let us -- she either bites us (it's amazing how sharp baby teeth are) or covers it up with her tongue.
So, since we try to include pictures in all of our posts, here is an adorable picture of Rosemary feeling pretty in her new headband:
And, here is what our house and backyard looked like this morning -- IN MARCH!!
We will be sure to show all of the kids what it looks like outside. They'll probably be in elementary school before they see this much snow in Alabama again. . . .
