Sister Love

Piper and Rosemary seem to get closer and closer each day.  They love each other so much, and it shows in everything they do.  Now when I look at them, I wonder how we ever thought that they may not be identical.  I’m so glad that we did the DNA test so that now we know that they really are identical.  Everything seems to make so much more sense knowing that.  This weekend at the Botanical Gardens I was able to get a few photos of the two of them together. . . .

I love these photos so much, especially because they show the relationship that these two have.  I can’t imagine how it will grow over time. . . .

The Botanical Gardens

We had a really busy weekend – we had a visit from the kids’ developmental specialist and speech therapist from when they were in Early Intervention.  I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph an awesome 7-year-old’s winter wonderland birthday party, and we had a trip to the Botanical Gardens.  It was not the best weather, but it was pleasant and there was almost no one there.  The kids were most impressed with the fish (which I actually found to be a little creepy).

Henry hasn’t been much for the camera lately, perhaps because I’ve been trying extra hard to get some photos of him.  I finally gave up getting some candid shots and asked him to look at me and smile for the camera.

Perfect.  That’s exactly what I meant. . . .

Feet off the Table, Please!

She can’t seem to help herself.  She always puts her feet up on the table during mealtime.

But, then again, she’s so stinking cute that I may just let her get away with it.

A Surprisingly Warm Trip to Aldridge Gardens

If you’ve followed my blog for very long, you know that we really love Aldridge Gardens.  Since the weather was somewhat tolerable this weekend, we headed out there for a picnic lunch.  The kids were so excited and we all had a great time.  As you can tell, Rosemary was all about the camera on this trip. . . .

The kids are really into holding hands, and I love it!  It’s so sweet.

Who is that Bearded Man?!!

It’s GARY!  He didn’t shave over the long Christmas weekend . . . and hasn’t really shaved since.  I really like the beard.  The kids seem to like it, too.

Gary keeps joking with me that he’s going to buy some stuff to dye his beard black.  Well, he says that he’s just joking. . . .  I sure hope he is!
