Three Lees in a Pod plus the Little Sprout

On June 25, 2008, at 30 weeks gestation, we welcomed our three Lees in a pod to our family. Piper was born at 12:36 p.m. weighing 3 pounds 2 ounces, Henry followed at 12:37 p.m. weighing 3 pounds 15 ounces, and Rosemary showed up last at 12:37 p.m. weighing 1 pound 14 ounces. On August 2, 2008, Piper came home from the NICU at what would have been 35 weeks and 3 days of gestation weighing 4 pounds 15 ounces. On August 7, 2008, Henry followed and came home at what would have been 36 weeks and 1 day of gestation weighing 6 pounds. Finally, on August 16, 2008, at what would have been 37 weeks and 3 days gestation, Rosemary came home weighing 4 pounds 4 ounces. On August 10, 2010, at 39 weeks and 4 days gestation, we welcomed Penelope to our family. She was born at 12:35 p.m. weighing 7 pounds 14.8 ounces. On August 13, 2010, she and her mama came home from the hospital on the same day, with Penelope weighing in at 7 pounds 4 ounces.

A Box and A Belt

I've always heard that kids enjoy the boxes that the toys come in more than the toys. I guess that extends to husbands as well, because Gary used to his belt to turn a box from Costco into an indoor sled this past weekend. The babies loved it!

P.S. I think my inside pics are improving. . . . I'm going to have to keep working on it.

On the Road Again . . . And Behind on Posting

Last weekend we drove up to my hometown to see my precious niece's baptism. Then this past weekend we drove up to my hometown to visit my family, and also to attend a family reunion. I am having a great time, but all this travel absolutely zaps my energy. We try to get on the road whenever the babies would be sleeping (so that they sleep on the road) -- which is either right after lunch or at night. We usually drive during naptime, which means that Gary and I do not get a naptime. We desperately miss our naptime. . . . Anyway, here are some belated pictures of Laramy's baptism last weekend:
