Penelope's Pediatrician Visit and Photography Slideshow

Penelope had her two week pediatrician appointment this past Thursday (when she was actually 16 days old). She had gained 11 ounces in 10 days, which the pediatrician said was great. Here are her stats:

8 pounds 5.5 ounces (50th percentile)
21.25 inches long (75th-90th percentile)
14.25 inches head circumference (50th percentile)

When Penelope was born, she was 19 inches long. I don't think it's possible that she has grown 2.25 inches in 16 days, so I'm thinking that one of the measurements must have been wrong. But then she does seem to be a lot longer now than she was when she was born, so who knows. Her next pediatrician appointment will be when she is 6-8 weeks old.

When Penelope was one week old, she had a photography session with Heather Swanner, who did the kids' newborn photos. You can click here to see a link to Penelope's slideshow, or you can click here to see a link to the photographer's blog post with a few photos of Penelope. Now the hard part of narrowing down the photos begins!

Heather,
Those pictures are priceless! She did an awesome job with the big kids too. I have no idea how you are going to choose. I hope you guys are doing well. Once it gets cooler let's go to the Gardens. Maggie would love playing with your oldests. Take care,
Tricia
