Gary has been very excited about the first football game of the season. Well, he's been excited about the entire football season, but we have seriously been on a countdown for the first game of the season for a few months. In preparation, Gary ordered some Gators cheerleading outfits for the girls and a Tim Tebow football jersey for Henry. (By the way, I saw how much those things cost and I'm sure that I won't hear any more complaining about any children's trunk show I may attend.)
So, in preparation for the big day, Gary also started planning the photos that he wanted me to take for
his blog. . . .
Gary: So, I thought we'd get a picture of me with one of the kids watching the game.
Me: Okay.
Gary: And also a picture of them all together.
Me: Uhm . . . okay.
Gary: I thought we could sit them all in the chairs . . .
Me: [Looking at Gary like he may be crazy.]
Gary: . . . and take a picture of them watching the game.
Me: [Laughing way too hard to talk.]
It wasn't completely insane to get a picture of Gary with one of the kids watching the game. However, the kids were pretty riled up for the game on Saturday and weren't so into sitting still.

Then -- we got to the part where Gary was ready to "sit them all in chairs and take pictures of them watching the game." I just told Gary to put them in their chairs and I'd take the pictures. . . .

Afterwards, Gary said that he has no idea how
Heather Swanner gets any pictures of the kids at all. I have to agree.
